What Is HPNLU Journal Of Social Sciences, Shimla?

The HPNLU Journal of Social Sciences, Shimla, is launching its maiden issue (Volume 1). The journal is for multidisciplinary authorship, research and readership which focus on the real world research. The Journal accepts works and researches from diverse areas of life which include Anthropology, History, Political Science, Sociology, Language, Economics, Psychology, Criminology, Linguistics, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, Diaspora, Migration Studies, Race and Ethics, religion and more. It welcomes theoretical, methodological, quantitative and qualitative ideas from all the areas under the realm of Social Sciences.

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) Shimla, was established by the State Government in the year 2016, by an Act of the Legislature (Act 16 of 2016). The University started functioning from October 5, 2016. Shimla, is one of the best places for studying law in India. The University focuses on the holistic developments of students about the legal system, topographies of law making, legal practice, and administration.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

Categories for submission: Contribution may be made in the form of Research Papers / Article, Notes and comments, and Book Review. The contribution, in a given category, should be a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of contemporary social, political, and economic issues. The following word limits should be observed:
- ARTICLES (6000-10000 words)
- ESSAYS AND COMMENTS (4000-6000 words)
- BOOK REVIEW (3000-4000words) (Contribution under this Category is required to be made along with the new hard copy of the Book).
Submission guidelines:
- The participants are encouraged to refer to the brochure to refer to the specific guidelines of submission of papers.
- The Abstract of the paper in 250-300 words should be sent along with the electronic submissions.
- The Author(s) must send a covering letter mentioning the title of the paper, name, designation, and details of the author(s) as well as institutional affiliation.
- For citation and references, follow the latest edition of APA/ Chicago/ MLA Style.
