About the Organizers:

The State of Maharashtra established three autonomous National Law Universities—at Mumbai, Nagpur, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar—under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014, to promote quality legal education. The newest, MNLU-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, began on March 16, 2017, fulfilling a long-standing regional aspiration. It started admissions in 2017–18 through CLAT 2017, with authorities working to ensure smooth enrollment and student facilities.

About MNLU-CS Student Law Review (SLR):

The MNLU-CS Student Law Review (SLR) is a student-run, flagship annual publication that offers a platform to engage in contemporary legal debates. It’s a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that emphasizes interdisciplinary perspectives and original research.

Submission Categories:

  • Research Articles: 4,000-8,000 words
  • Case Comments: 2,500-5,000 words
  • Book Review: 1,500-3,000 words
  • Legislative Comments: 2,000-4,000 words
  • Short Articles or Notes: 2,000-4,000 words

General Submission guidelines:

  • Authors are informed not to resort to plagiarism and that the MNLU-CS follows zero tolerance against plagiarism.
  • Co-authorship of up to 2 authors per submission is allowed.
  • All writing should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, 20 Edition.
  • All submissions shall be sent to the Google form (in word format only). No other form of submission would be accepted.
