About the Book:

Settlement of trade disputes is at the centre of the rules based International Trading System. In light of the rising complexities due to globalization, regionalism, technology, sustainability, geopolitics; there is a pressing requirement to resist conventional mechanisms of dispute settlement and seek innovative solutions. This book will assemble authors, practitioners and policy makers to consider WTO Dispute Settlement, regional trade mechanisms and Arbitration and ADR, Litigation and future directions in International Trade Law critically.

  • Legal process in international trade disputes (jurisdictional and enforcement of judgments)
  • Specific trade disputes; services, digital trade, IPR (Trade related Aspects of IPR), Environment , Investor state disputes.

PART VI: Contemporary Issues and Future Directions

  • Existing challenges: WTO Appellate body crisis, plurilateral, geopolitical, protectionism
  • Impact of AI, Digital economy, and sustainability considerations on dispute resolutions
  • Future trends: Hybrid Mechanisms, Online dispute Resolutions (ODR), plurilateral and reform proposals.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract: 400–500 words with 4–6 keywords.
  • Full Chapter: 5,000–7,000 words (including references).
  • Formatting: MS Word | Times New Roman | 12 pt | 1.5 spacing | APA 7th edition Citation
  • Contribution should be original and not currently under consideration with any other publication.
  • Co-authorship allowed upto 4.
  • Plagiarism, including AI- Generated content, must be kept below 10 % with reference excluded.
