Space Law in the New Space Era: International and Indian Perspectives on Emerging Technologies, Commercialisation and Governance Edited by Dr. Megha Ojha & Dr. Madhumathi Maduri

About the Book

This edited volume explores the evolution of outer space law in the context of commercialisation, autonomous technologies, and the increasing role of non‑state actors. It traces the development of international space law from the Cold War to the NewSpace era, addressing challenges posed by AI, mega‑constellations, space debris, cybersecurity, and space‑resource exploitation. The book also situates India’s emerging space‑law regime within the global framework, highlighting regulatory gaps that will shape the future of space governance.
