About the Special Edition The Koitur Magazine of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, invites original and unpublished articles, essays, commentaries, case studies, book reviews, and interdisciplinary reflections for its forthcoming special edition on “Folklore, Cultural Rights, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.”

This issue seeks to critically examine the relationship between folklore, indigenous traditions, customary knowledge, and contemporary legal and policy frameworks. Folklore represents the living memory, ecological wisdom, and normative consciousness of communities, influencing governance, dispute resolution, environmental ethics, and cultural continuity.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Limit: 1000–1200 words
  • Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx), Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 spacing, A4 size, 1-inch margins
  • Citation Style: Bluebook (20th Edition)
  • Similarity Index: ≤10% | AI-generated content: ≤10%
  • Deadline: 16th August 2026
