Asia-Pacific Moot Court Competition | The India Habitat Centre | New Delhi | India | 12 -13 February 2027
The Asia-Pacific Moot Court Competition is an annual event that introduces law students in the Asia-Pacific region to important international trademark and unfair competition law issues. Since its establishment in 2017, the Competition has provided students with the opportunity to develop their brief-writing and oral advocacy skills by applying international legal principles to a fictional fact pattern and advocating their position in a mock courtroom setting.
The Competition fosters a healthy spirit of competition and camaraderie among participating teams while helping prepare the next generation of intellectual property practitioners.
The objective of the Competition is to introduce law students in the Asia-Pacific region to important international trademark and unfair competition law issues in order to foster a healthy spirit of competition and camaraderie among participating teams. Participating law students will develop their brief writing and oral advocacy skills by applying international legal principles to a fictional fact pattern, and then advocating their legal positions in a mock courtroom experience.
Each team desiring to participate must complete the online entry form no later than 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time, November 15, 2026. After successfully registering online, each team will receive an email from INTA with their unique TEAM NUMBER along with their brief assignment. Each team must submit their brief by email to APACMootCourt@inta.org no later than 5:00 pm U.S. Eastern Time, November 20, 2026. Please ensure you mention your assigned team number in the subject line while submitting the brief. Please read the Moot Court Rules carefully in this regard.
Early entry is suggested and there is no registration fee to enter.
