About the conference

Gujarat National Law University is organizing an Advanced Training Program on Death Penalty Philosophy (23-25 August 2019).

This training program clothes in it the aim to empower the students of law, advocates, people from NGOs, police personnel, academicians and other significant stakeholders of the legal fraternity with the requisite knowledge of the law in its practical shell.

The intricacies and inconsistencies residing within the Philosophy of Death Penalty will be scrutinized in a comprehensive manner to help the participants gain real insight into the nuances of this punishment.

Duration

 It will be a 3-day Training Program from 23-25 August 2019 of 15 Hours (excluding assessment).

Number of Participants

30 participants will be selected on a first-cum-first base.

• Advocates
• People from NGOs
• Police personnel
• Academicians etc

1. Rs. 500/- for GNLU students.
2. Rs. 1500/- for external participants
