Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University (DBRANLU), Rai, Sonipat, Haryana, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor (Law) on a permanent basis. Candidates possessing the qualifications prescribed under the UGC Regulations may submit their applications through the prescribed offline mode on or before November 30, 2026.

Vacancy Details

Assistant Professor (Law)

• Number of Posts: 2
• Reservation:
  • BCA Category (Haryana): 1 Post
  • EWS Category (Haryana): 1 Post
• One post is horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per applicable government norms.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed in:

• Academic Level-10
• Entry Pay: ₹57,700 per month

as per UGC and University norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed under the UGC Regulations.

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

and

• Must have cleared UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/SLET/SET;

OR

• Possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations and amendments thereto, thereby qualifying for exemption from NET/SLET/SET wherever applicable.

Alternative Eligibility

Candidates who have obtained a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 institutions globally under recognized international ranking systems may also be eligible.

Shortlisting Criteria

Shortlisting for interview will be based on the University’s prescribed Academic and Research Score, which takes into account:

• Graduation Marks
• Postgraduate Marks
• M.Phil./Ph.D.
• NET/JRF/SLET/SET
• Research Publications
• Teaching Experience
• Academic and Research Achievements/Awards

The final shortlisting shall be undertaken by the University in accordance with the prescribed criteria.

The fee is to be submitted through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of“The Registrar, DBRANLU, Rai, Sonipat” payable at SBI, Bahalgarh, Sonipat.
