South Asian Waterscapes: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on History, Culture, Crisis, and Power.The conference focuses on the diverse ways in which water and waterscapes shape South Asian societies. It seeks to examine water not merely as a natural resource but also as a subject connected with history, culture, identity, governance, inequality, migration, livelihoods, spirituality, ecology and political power.

The interdisciplinary nature of the conference provides an opportunity for researchers from areas such as law, humanities, social sciences, environmental studies, political science, sociology, history, geography and cultural studies to contribute.
