Recognized by the Government of NCT Delhi, approved by the Bar Council of India and AICTE, and accredited by NAAC, the Institute blends state-of-the-art infrastructure with quality education. Guided by the vision of its founder Late Shri Rakesh Aggarwal, IIMT strives to cultivate academic excellence, moral values, and market-oriented skill development.
The School of Law at IIMT carries forward the mission of academic integrity and social responsibility. With a strong emphasis on clinical legal education, students gain hands-on experience through legal aid clinics, moot courts, internships, and client counseling. This approach bridges the gap between legal education and access to justice, ensuring students are trained as competent professionals and socially conscious individuals.
The Rakesh Aggarwal Memorial Debate Competition is designed to foster critical thinking, persuasive communication, and analytical skills among students. It provides a platform to explore contemporary legal issues, encouraging participants to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop well-reasoned arguments. The competition is not merely about winning but about holistic skill development in research, advocacy, and intellectual expression.
