National Intellectual Property Article Writing Competition | CIIPR | RGNUL | Punjab | Register by 12 September 2026
The Centre for Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (CIIPR), RGNUL is proud to announce the 3rd National Intellectual Property Article Writing Competition 2026, in collaboration with SS Rana & Co.
The Article Writing Competition is an excellent opportunity for young writers to expand their horizons beyond the usual college curriculum. Participants are encouraged to analyse and propose ways to foster innovation and fortify the existing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) framework.
Competition Format:
The competition follows a structured format. It begins with mandatory registration, followed by the submission of a well-crafted article, which should be between 2500 and 3000 words. The next step involves a paper presentation on specified themes. Winners will be selected through a double-blind peer review process, and paper presentations will be conducted online.
Competition Themes:
A list of suggested topics, along with the submission guidelines, has been provided in the detailed brochure available through the Drive Link below. However, participants are free to choose any other theme that falls within the broader domain of Intellectual Property and Innovation. The Brochure also contains the detailed submission guidelines, which the participants are advised to review carefully.

The competition is open exclusively to undergraduate students. Cross-institutional teams are permitted.

Awards and Prizes:
The top 10 ranked articles will receive recognition by being published in the RGNUL CIIPR Journal and on the official CIIPR-RGNUL website. Only these 10 selected participants will be awarded Merit Certificates. The top 3 rankers or teams will be awarded cash prizes (1st Prize: Rs. 15,000, 2nd Prize: Rs. 10,000, 3rd Prize: Rs. 6,000). Additionally, an internship opportunity will be offered to the top two ranks by SS Rana & Co.
