Students for the Promotion of International Law (SPIL), Government Law College, Mumbai, invites submissions for Volume VII, Issue I of the GLC-SPIL International Law Journal. We welcome original submissions on any topic relating to Public or Private International Law.
Authorship: A maximum of two authors per submission.
Call for Papers Deadline: 16th September 2026, 11:59 PM IST
Notification of Acceptance: First week of October 2026
Publication: November 2026
The entries are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, industry practitioners, academicians and research scholars. All manuscripts must be accompanied with an abstract, with a maximum limit of 300 (three hundred) words, exclusive of the total word limit. The abstract should clearly indicate the chosen topic of the manuscript. The plagiarism limit is 10%. Any submission beyond the plagiarism limit will be disqualified. The submissions must be in English. Authors must use British spelling conventions as set out in the latest edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.
Students for the Promotion of International Law (SPIL), Mumbai, is a student-run academic body based at Government Law College, Mumbai, dedicated to creating awareness and fostering dialogue on contemporary issues in international law. SPIL regularly organises lectures, webinars, workshops, and competitions, attracting participation from across India and abroad. Amongst our various initiatives such as the Judgment Deliberation Competition (JDC), Treaty Drafting Competition (TDC), etc., through our flagship event – the GLC International Law Summit – we have had the privilege of hosting eminent scholars, jurists, diplomats, and legal practitioners, and continue to build platforms that connect academia with real-world developments in international law.
