Judicial Internship: Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India
The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for its Judicial Internship Programme on a rolling basis.
About Justice Vikram Nath:
- Born on 24 September 1962.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh on 30 March 1987.
- Elevated as Additional Judge, Allahabad High Court on 24 September 2004; took oath as Judge on 27 February 2006.
- Served as Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court from 10 September 2019.
- Elevated as Judge, Supreme Court of India on 31 August 2021.
- Will demit office on 23 September 2027.
- Notably, he is the first Chief Justice of a High Court in India to live stream Court proceedings on YouTube.
Internship Duration:
Applications are invited for the following periods:
- 12 July 2026 – 31 August 2026
- 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2026
- 1 October 2026 – 6 November 2026
- 16 November 2026 – 18 December 2026
Note: These are the only available options as per the Supreme Court’s calendar. Certificates will reflect the respective period. Applicants must be available throughout the chosen duration.
Eligibility:
- Final year students of law.
- 5th year students of a 5‑year BA/BBA/BSc LL.B programme (or equivalent).
- 3rd year students of a 3‑year LL.B programme.
- Recent law graduates.
Application Process:
- Apply through the official form:
- Deadline: 15th of every month.
- Notification: If you do not hear from the office by the 20th of the month preceding your chosen internship period, please assume your application has not been successful.
