The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, established by Act No. 4 of the Jharkhand State Assembly in 2010, is a premier institution recognised by the UGC and the Bar Council of India. Since its inception, the University has grown steadily, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. It is also a member of the CLAT consortium since 2012.
NUSRL offers a five‑year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme, alongside research degrees and specialised diplomas in areas such as Child Rights, Mines & Minerals Law, and Tribal Law. With over 600 students enrolled, the University continues to strengthen its academic and research initiatives, aiming to meet global standards in legal education.
