About Institution:

Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), established in 2018 under the Madhya Pradesh Dharmashastra National Law University Act, stands as a premier institution dedicated to advancing legal education in India. Guided by its motto “speak the truth and conduct in accordance with Dharma,” the University emphasizes quality teaching, practical training, and simulated exercises to cultivate responsibility and service-oriented values among students and scholars. It nurtures a multidimensional approach to legal discourse, fosters impactful research through its faculty-led DNLU Journal of Legal Studies and student-run DNLU Student Law Journal, and supports eleven specialized research centers, thereby creating a vibrant academic environment committed to national development and the enrichment of legal scholarship.

About Journal:

The Dharmashastra National Law University–Student Law Journal (DNLU-SLJ) is a peer‑reviewed, student‑run academic forum designed to advance rigorous research across diverse legal domains, including comparative, global, and interdisciplinary perspectives. Conceived as a flagship initiative of DNLU, it provides a platform for students to publish scholarly articles, research papers, book reviews, and case comments, under the guidance of an editorial and advisory board featuring eminent jurists, with Hon’ble Shri Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, as Patron‑in‑Chief. Committed to ethical standards such as strict anti‑plagiarism and data accuracy norms, the Journal encourages active student participation in research while welcoming contributions beyond the DNLU community.
