Adamas University, accredited with NAAC Grade A in 2025, proudly announces the 6th Adamas Moot Court Competition (AMCC) to be held from 9th – 11th April, 2026 at Adamas Knowledge City, Kolkata.

This flagship national competition continues the tradition of presenting socially relevant and constitutionally significant legal challenges, fostering advocacy skills, analytical precision, and principled legal reasoning among aspiring professionals.

About Adamas University:

Established in 2014, Adamas University is a premier institution offering multidisciplinary education across Engineering, Law, Management, Social Sciences, Media, and Pharmacy. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and a strong emphasis on research, innovation, and experiential learning, the University has become the first private university in West Bengal to achieve NAAC A accreditation.

About the School of Law & Justice:

Founded in 2015, the School of Law & Justice (SOLJ) imparts justice-oriented education through intensive law study, clinical training, and mentorship by distinguished faculty including retired judges. The School emphasizes critical judgment, ethical values, and professional excellence, preparing students for real-world challenges in law and governance.

Moot Proposition 2026:

The competition problem engages with pressing constitutional dilemmas at the intersection of:

  • Indigenous rights & cultural preservation
  • Forest Rights Act interpretation
  • Doctrine of eminent domain
  • Environmental sustainability & inter-generational equity
  • Strategic mineral security & national interest
  • International law principles (Free, Prior & Informed Consent)
