University School of Law & Legal Studies (USLLS):

About IPMUN’26:

The Indraprastha Model United Nations 2026 is the flagship international relations and diplomacy simulation hosted by USLLS. It brings together students from universities and schools to deliberate on urgent global challenges.

Unlike conventional debate, IPMUN’26 emphasizes:

  • Solution-oriented dialogue
  • Consensus-building
  • Principled negotiation
  • Realistic exposure to multilateral diplomacy and international law

At a time of geopolitical instability, technological disruption, and persistent inequalities, IPMUN’26 provides a credible platform for informed engagement, leadership development, and intellectual exchange.


Simulated UN Committees & Agendas:

1. United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

Agenda: Human Rights Implications of Artificial Intelligence – Child Safety Online, Educational Dependency, and Digital Inequalities.
Delegates will deliberate on:

  • Algorithmic bias and digital surveillance
  • Data exploitation and unequal access to technology
  • Rights-based frameworks balancing innovation with dignity and equality

2. United Nations Security Council (UNSC)

Agenda: Threats to International Peace and Security – Ballistic Missiles, Drone Warfare, and Global Militarization.
Delegates will examine:

  • Counter-terrorism frameworks and sanctions regimes
  • Arms control and intelligence-sharing mechanisms
  • Balancing global security imperatives with humanitarian and human rights law

3. United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW)

Agenda: Strengthening Women’s Roles in Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution under the WPS Agenda.
Delegates will focus on:

  • Enhancing women’s participation in peace processes
  • Addressing structural barriers and gender-based violence
  • Promoting inclusive peacekeeping aligned with UNSC Resolution 1325 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Guidelines:

  • Detailed Rules of Procedure (RoP) will be shared with registered delegates.
  • Delegates must uphold professionalism, inclusivity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Proceedings will follow established United Nations diplomatic practices.

  • Open to university students across disciplines.
  • Open to school students (Classes XI–XII).
