About Justice Satish Chandra Sharma:

Justice Satish Chandra Sharma (b. 30 November 1961, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh) has had a distinguished career in law and the judiciary. After excelling in academics with multiple gold medals in law, he practiced extensively in constitutional, service, civil, and criminal matters. He was designated as a Senior Advocate at the young age of 42 and later served as Chief Justice of the High Courts of Karnataka, Telangana, and Delhi before being elevated to the Supreme Court of India in November 2023. Justice Sharma is also deeply engaged in legal education, serving on advisory boards of premier law universities and contributing to academic research.

The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, is inviting applications for physical internships during April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for law students to gain first-hand exposure to judicial work at the highest court of the country.

Duration:

  • 4 weeks (extendable based on performance)

Eligibility:

  • 4th/5th year students of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme
  • 2nd/3rd year students of a 3-year LL.B. programme
