Call for Papers:

The School of Law, MATS University, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) invites contributions for an upcoming edited volume titled Gandhian Justice and Alternative Dispute Resolution: Ethical Foundations and Contemporary Practice. This academic initiative seeks to integrate Mahatma Gandhi’s ethical philosophy with modern ADR mechanisms such as mediation, conciliation, arbitration, and Lok Adalats.

About the Book:

This edited volume explores Gandhian principles of Truth (Satya), Non‑violence (Ahimsa), moral responsibility, and community harmony, situating them within contemporary ADR practices. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach connecting law, political science, ethics, and public policy, while addressing disputes in family, labour, environment, and global peacebuilding contexts.

  • Abstract: 200–300 words with 4–7 keywords
  • Word Limit: 6,000–8,000 words (including references)
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, 1‑inch margins
  • Headings: First‑level ALL CAPS (bold), second‑level Initial Capitals (bold)
  • Referencing Style: APA (7th Edition)
  • Plagiarism: Similarity index 0–10% (Turnitin/Urkund/Drillbit verified)
  • Review: All submissions will undergo peer review
