APCAM (Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation) is an International ADR Center formed jointly by Centers from many countries in the Asia Pacific Region, which host APCAM centers in their respective countries. It also empanels a common panel of international mediators and arbitrators, with uniform accreditation system from all the countries, which would help the parties to experience uniform high-standard practice, bringing credibility and professionalism of mediators and arbitrators. The administration of APCAM is done by an independent Governing Board comprising of nominee Board members from each constituent institutions, who are some of the best arbitrators, mediators or ADR professionals from the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr. Friedrich Rosenfeld is partner at the arbitration boutique Hanefeld in Hamburg, Germany. He regularly acts as counsel in international arbitration proceedings. Besides, he has been arbitrator in cases involving a range of applicable substantive laws and seats (Austria, Denmark, England, Germany, Greece, Israel, Switzerland, United States). Before joining his current firm, Friedrich worked as a consultant for the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia.
Friedrich is Global Adjunct Professor of Law at NYU Law in Paris, a lecturer for investment arbitration at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg as well as Visiting Professor for arbitration at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki.
