K.R. Mangalam University, Sohna Road, Gurugram (Delhi-NCR Region) is a private university established in 2013 under the Haryana Private Universities Act and, is empowered to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. K.R. Mangalam University is by the K.R. Mangalam Group which also runs K.R. Mangalam World Schools in Delhi-NCR.

About the FDP

Pandemic 2020 brought a complete change in the education sector. The pandemic pedagogy gave opportunity to the educators to completely shift from classroom to digital room and also to adopt other innovative teaching methods to engage students in the virtual model. Notwithstanding the overwhelming consequences of the pandemic, this worldwide disaster has also been an amazing period for learning. The usage of virtual resources flourished considerably at this time as one could easily search for information through online blogs, papers, websites, and other related resources without physically visiting the library etc. The opportunity for live recordings of teachings, meetings, lectures, and other interactions is another advantage of online education. But at the same time it also has a lot of challenges like lack of prior training leading to confusion on effective use of the technology, inability to take practical classes wherever required, slower internet speed, the lack of preparedness of internet providers for the sudden growth in demand, limited opportunity for monitoring assessments, etc.
