The institute was granted affiliation by the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2007 and affiliation has been approved by the Bar Council of India. The method of teaching in GIL includes lecture discussion, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignments, court visits, internship and legal aid programs and placement programs. The institute organizes seminars on issues of law and global concern on national and international level, conduct clinical courses and train students in legal research and legal writing.

Job description

The applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor (Law), qualification as per UGC Norms.

Eligibility

1. A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
2. A minimum of two years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals .
