National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) is inviting applications from highly qualified and dedicated candidates for two contractual faculty positions. These appointments are designed to strengthen teaching and research in Public Law and Technology Law, integrating governance with emerging intersections of law and technology.
Position Details:
- Assistant Professor (Public Law): 01 position
- Assistant Professor (Technology Law): 01 position
- Remuneration: ₹90,000 per month (subject to TDS @10% under Section 194J, Income Tax Act, 1961)

Remuneration & Tenure:
- Monthly remuneration of ₹90,000 funded by the respective programme.
- Initial appointment for six months, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.
- No additional benefits or perks will be provided.
Eligibility & Profile:
- Exceptional academic qualifications from top‑ranked law schools in India or abroad.
- Demonstrated research excellence with publications in reputed international journals.
- Advanced skills, experience, and proven ability to contribute to a national‑level higher education institution.
Application Process:
- Deadline: 15th May 2026, 5:00 PM.
- Mode: Online submission only.
- Application Fee: ₹1,000 (non‑refundable). SC/ST and PwD candidates are exempted.
- Applications must include self‑attested copies of relevant certificates/testimonials.
- Those already employed must apply through the proper channel.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting based on evaluation of application contents.
- Shortlisting does not guarantee interview or selection.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview.
Important Guidelines:
- Eligibility must be fulfilled by the last date of application.
- Possession of essential qualifications does not guarantee interview call.
- Positions are contractual, self‑financed, and not part of regular sanctioned posts.
- No claim for regularization or service benefits will be entertained.
- Incomplete applications or those without the prescribed fee will be rejected.
- Suppression of facts, false information, or misconduct will lead to cancellation of candidature and possible legal action.
- Appointment is subject to verification of antecedents.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending interviews.
