About the Call for Blogs

CSLT invites original and unpublished blog submissions on the theme: “The Afterlife of Law: What Survives When a Legal Rule Changes?”

Submissions should ordinarily be 1,000–1,200 words. Flexibility in word limit may be allowed at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Similarity Index: ≤ 10% (Turnitin verified).
  • AI‑generated content: ≤ 5%.
  • Co‑authorship: Maximum of two authors.
  • Format: .doc or .docx.
  • References: Hyperlinks preferred; endnotes (Bluebook 21st edition) where hyperlinks unavailable.
  • Footnotes not permitted.
  • Manuscripts: Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing; margins normal.

Review Process

  • Stage 1: Plagiarism & AI Check
  • Stage 2: Clarity Review (language, coherence, logical flow)
  • Stage 3: Substantive Review (accuracy, analytical depth, relevance)

Only manuscripts meeting all standards will be considered. The Editorial Board retains final discretion and may not provide feedback on rejected submissions.

Publication Details

  • Copyright of published blogs will vest with CSLT, DNLU Jabalpur.
