Chambers of Malak Bhatt is a counsel‑driven disputes and strategic advisory practice founded on the belief that effective lawyering goes beyond litigation: it requires clarity of thought, commercial understanding, courtroom strategy, and unwavering commitment to outcomes.
Founded by Malak Bhatt, Advocate‑on‑Record, Supreme Court of India, the Chambers represents a natural evolution of years of practice, institution‑building, and high‑stakes litigation experience across courts, tribunals, and investigative forums in India.
Malak Bhatt has advised and represented promoters, corporates, financial institutions, insolvency professionals, resolution applicants, directors, and individuals in some of the most complex and commercially sensitive disputes across sectors. His practice spans insolvency and restructuring, white‑collar crime, regulatory investigations, commercial litigation, arbitration, constitutional matters, banking disputes, and crisis management strategy.
An Oxford graduate with extensive experience before the Supreme Court of India, NCLAT, NCLTs, High Courts, arbitral tribunals, PMLA courts, and regulatory forums, Malak Bhatt is recognised for combining deep legal strategy with practical, solution‑oriented advice in matters involving insolvency, enforcement actions, fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, distressed assets, governance issues, and business‑critical litigation.
Prior to founding the Chambers, Malak Bhatt co‑founded NM Law Chambers, where he played a central role in building a respected disputes and investigations practice known for its aggressive yet nuanced legal strategy, client‑centric approach, and ability to handle legally and commercially complex mandates. Before that, he was associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. (SAM), gaining extensive exposure to high‑value commercial disputes and corporate advisory work.
Chambers of Malak Bhatt is inviting internship applications for October, November, and December 2026. Three slots are available each month at our Delhi office.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a counsel‑driven practice, gain exposure to high‑stakes disputes, and develop practical courtroom and chamber skills under the mentorship of an Advocate‑on‑Record at the Supreme Court of India.
