About the Event

LAWTREK 2026 is the flagship Pan India Inter-College Legal Competition organized by the Moot Court Society of CPJ Group of Institutions. Held under the theme “Where Advocacy Meets Excellence,” the event brings together law students from institutions across the country to compete, collaborate, and develop practical legal skills beyond the classroom.

The festival has been designed to bridge academic learning with professional legal practice by providing participants with opportunities to engage in advocacy, dispute resolution, legal drafting, policy formulation, investigation, and diplomacy. Through intellectually stimulating competitions, participants strengthen their research, analytical reasoning, communication, negotiation, leadership, and teamwork skills while addressing contemporary legal and policy issues.

Competitions

LAWTREK 2026 comprises the following five flagship competitions:

• Institution of Suit
• Mediation & Negotiation
• Crime Scene Investigation
• Policy Drafting
• Model United Nations (MUN)

Each competition is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to different dimensions of the legal profession while encouraging critical thinking, professionalism, and ethical decision-making.

Eligibility Criteria

• The competitions are open to students enrolled in recognized Colleges, Universities, and Institutions, subject to the eligibility requirements prescribed in the respective Rulebook of each competition.
• Participants must ensure compliance with the rules and team composition applicable to the competition for which they register.
• Each institution may register teams in accordance with the limits prescribed under the individual competition rules.

Registration

• Interested participants must complete the Registration Form for the respective competition.
• Registration shall be confirmed only upon successful submission of all required documents and payment of the registration fee, wherever applicable.
• Participants are advised to carefully read the Rulebook of the respective competition before registering.
• Competition-specific registration details, team composition, submission requirements, and timelines shall be governed by the respective Rulebooks.
