About the Role

Treelife Ventures Services Private Limited invites applications for the position of Law Intern – M&A, PE/VC Transactions, Contracts & Compliance. This internship offers aspiring law students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate transactions, compliance, and legal advisory functions under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on diverse issues.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and briefs.
• Attend client meetings and prepare detailed notes.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and organizing documents.
• Support investment transactions for startups and investors, including drafting, vetting, and negotiating transaction documents.
• Assist in managing compliance and legal functions.
• Work on matters ranging from company law, data protection, commercial contracts, foreign investments, acquisitions, and investment exits.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a law school.
• Availability for a full-time (in-office) internship.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
