About IICA:

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), established under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, functions as a premier think tank and centre of excellence dedicated to advancing corporate sector growth through a multidisciplinary approach. Among its specialized centres, the Centre for Business and Human Rights plays a pivotal role in action research, policy advocacy, and capacity building on issues of business and human rights at both national and global levels.

Internship Responsibilities:

Selected interns will engage in:

• Reviewing sustainability reports of India’s top 500 companies.
• Extracting and collating relevant information in prescribed formats.
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research on sustainability-related matters.

Duration & Mode:

• Minimum internship period: 1 month, extendable up to 6 months based on performance and recommendation of the Internal Selection Committee.
• Internships may commence on any day of a calendar month, depending on institutional needs.
• Mode: Hybrid (subject to discretion of competent authority).
• IICA reserves the right to terminate internships at any stage.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be full-time students or young professionals (within 6 months of graduation) from recognized institutions. Eligible disciplines include:

• Law: Three-year or five-year LL.B. (final year preferred), LL.M.
• Final semester students undertaking applied research projects or dissertations (minimum 20 weeks).

Perks:

• Honorarium: ₹10,000 per month.
• Certificate: Awarded upon successful completion.
• Interns opting for campus accommodation (shared basis, subject to availability) will receive a consolidated honorarium of ₹5,000 per month. Food charges to be borne by the intern.
• In special cases, unpaid internships may be recommended.

• Submit Form A along with a recommendation from the Head of Institution (on official letterhead) through the institution’s email ID.

• Envelope must be superscribed: “Application for Internship for the month of …”

Number of Interns:

• Limited to 10 interns per month, extendable to 15 with approval of the competent authority.
