Call for Applications: Academic Fellow under UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports at NLU Delhi

National Law University Delhi (NLUD), established under Act No. 1 of 2008, invites applications for the position of Academic Fellow under the prestigious UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and academic initiatives in the field of sports law and integrity.

Position Details:

  • Chair: UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports

Remuneration & Tenure:

  • Consolidated remuneration: INR 50,000 per month (subject to TDS @10%).
  • Initial appointment: One year, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • LL.M. degree with specialization in the concerned field from a recognized Indian or foreign university, with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Demonstrable research track record in the relevant subject.
  • Prior research experience including fieldwork and data collection is highly desirable.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting will be based on evaluation of application contents.
  • Shortlisting does not guarantee interview or final selection.

Role & Responsibilities:

The Academic Fellow will:

  • Assist in research work under the supervision of the Chair Professor.
  • Publish at least three papers annually (one Scopus-indexed and two international).
  • Contribute to academic and administrative pursuits of the University.
  • Maintain full-time presence at the University (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on working days).
