About the Moot Court Competition:

After the overwhelming success of the 1st SGU Moot Court Competition 2025, the Moot Court Committee at the School of Law and Legal Studies, SDGI Global University, Ghaziabad, is now organizing the 2nd edition of the Moot Court Competition. This competition will witness the presence of renowned legal practitioners, and eminent scholars in the field of law. These legal luminaries will not only grace the events but also actively contribute by judging rounds, delivering keynote addresses, and providing invaluable insights to the participating students.

Eligibility:

The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bonafide on a regular basis in an undergraduate/postgraduate law course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized institution. A recognized institution shall be entitled to send multiple teams to the competition.

How to Register?

Interested participants have to first pay the registration fees, take a screenshot and then fill the Google Form (Link in the Brochure).

Important dates:

  • Last date for registration and payment of fees – 10th April
  • Last date for seeking corrections and clarifications to the moot proposition – 11th April
  • Release of corrections and clarifications to the moot proposition – 13th April
  • Last date for submission of soft copy of Memorials – 15th April
  • Release of Round Fixtures for Preliminary Rounds – 16th April
  • Inaugural Session, Preliminary Rounds and Quarter Final Rounds – 17th April
  • Researchers’ Test, Semi-Final Rounds, Final Round and Valedictory Ceremony – 18th April

Prizes:

  • Winning Team – Rs. 12000/-
  • Runners Up – Rs. 8000/-
  • Best Speaker (Male) – Rs. 2100/-
  • Best Speaker (Female) – Rs. 2100/-
  • Best Researcher – Rs. 2100/-
  • Note: All participants will be given participation certificates.
