About the Programme:
This ten-day FDP provides a comprehensive academic platform for faculty members, researchers, and scholars to engage with emerging developments in Intellectual Property law, judicial trends, international frameworks, and evolving research themes.
Highlights include:
- Deliberations on copyright, patents, trademarks, technology law, AI, and global IP governance.
- Focus on pedagogy, curriculum design, and interdisciplinary engagement.
- 30 contact hours delivered in line with UGC mandates for FDPs.
- Sessions by leading academicians, policymakers, practitioners, and IP experts.
About DPIIT-IPR Chair:
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India launched the SPRIHA scheme (2016) to strengthen IP Chairs in higher education. HNLU Raipur was awarded this prestigious Chair for its progressive IP curriculum and intensive research initiatives, promoting quality teaching, research, and outreach in IP law.
Programme Objectives:
- Familiarize participants with contemporary IP law developments (AI, biotechnology, digital technologies).
- Strengthen teaching methodologies through innovative pedagogies and case-based learning.
- Enhance research capabilities with evolving themes and publication strategies.
- Promote interdisciplinary engagement across law, technology, economics, and public policy.
- Contribute to strengthening IP education in alignment with national innovation initiatives.

- Faculty members from law, social sciences, management, engineering, and technology.
- Doctoral candidates, research scholars, and postgraduate students in IP law and AI governance.
- Industry professionals and innovation managers in IP, technology, and policy.

- Day 1 (6 April): Global Governance of IP; Digital Advertising & Personality Rights in Synthetic Media.
- Day 2 (7 April): Authorship & Ownership in AI Era; Case-Based IP Teaching.
- Day 3 (8 April): Trademark Law in Digital Commerce; SEPs & FRAND Licensing.
- Day 5 (10 April): Blockchain, Metaverse & NFTs; Copyright in the Digital Age.
- Day 7 (13 April): Geographical Indications & Traditional Knowledge; Data & IP Regulation.
- Day 9 (15 April): Competition Law & IP Interface; Role of Judiciary in Innovation.
- Day 10 (16 April): International Patent Filing (PCT); Reflections on Design Law.

- Fee: ₹1200 (exclusive of GST)
