About Mediation Competition:

The Shri D.V. Subba Rao National Mediation Competition is an initiative to promote alternative dispute resolution (ADR) skills among law students. Mediation, as a collaborative and solution‑oriented process, is increasingly vital in today’s legal landscape.

  • Participants will engage in realistic mediation scenarios, enhancing their negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
  • The competition will be judged by experienced mediators, practitioners, and academicians from across India.
  • It provides a unique opportunity to interact with ADR experts and gain practical insights into mediation practice.

The first edition (September 2024) witnessed participation from 24 teams nationwide and was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Shri J.K. Maheshwari, Supreme Court of India. Building on this success, DSNLU proudly announces the second edition, continuing the legacy of Shri D.V. Subba Rao, a respected jurist and advocate of ADR in India.
