The MANUU Law School, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, is set to host the 2nd MANUU Law School National Moot Court Competition, 2026, continuing the strong academic legacy established by its inaugural edition in 2025. The dispute further escalates when Stratos AeroDesign Ltd., a Hyderabad-based aerospace company, alleges that FALCON-X was trained on illegally scraped proprietary datasets, causing substantial economic harm. The matter is presently before the Commercial Division of the Delhi High Court, raising complex questions of:
Participants are required to argue both sides within a single consolidated suit.
All teams qualifying for Quarter-Finals and Offline Rounds receive Certificates of Merit, while all participants in Online Rounds receive E-Certificates .
The competition is organised under the leadership of:
The event is supported by an Internal Advisory Moot Court Committee comprising distinguished academicians and legal professionals from MANUU and leading national law institutions .
The 2nd MANUU National Moot Court Competition stands out for its contemporary relevance, addressing unresolved legal questions on AI autonomy, intellectual property ownership, and regulatory jurisdiction—issues increasingly central to modern legal practice. It offers participants a rare opportunity to engage deeply with future-facing legal dilemmas while competing on a nationally recognised academic platform.
