Applications are invited for consultants to be engaged on contract basis, initially up to 31st March 2026 from the date of joining (which may be extended on need basis) for Project Monitoring unit (PMU) under the Department of Justice. The details of requirement for engagement of consultants on contract for different posts are as follows:

Available Positions:

Program Associate	1	₹45,000	≤ 40 yrs as on the date of publication	Bachelor’s in Law; Freshers may apply; preference for experience with NGOs/social enterprises

Terms of Engagement:

Tenure: Contractual till 31 March 2026, extendable based on performance
Recruitment Method: Open market, contract-based
Annual Increment: Up to 10% on completion of one year of continuous engagement, depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Leave: 12 days/year (pro-rata); non-carry forwardable
TA/DA: Not applicable for joining; admissible for official travel
Termination Clause: Can be terminated anytime without reason; consultants may resign after 6 months with 2 months’ notice or pay

Job Descriptions:

1. Program Manager (Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Pro bono Legal Services)

Lead planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities
Conduct research and stakeholder consultations
Draft project documents and organize conferences
Manage pro bono portal operations and media outreach
Support training, reporting, and documentation

2. Program Associate

Assist in project implementation and stakeholder engagement
Support documentation, training, and event organization
Help manage pro bono portal and outreach campaigns
Provide analytical and administrative support

Headquarters: Jaisalmer House, 26 Man Singh Road, New Delhi – 110011
Office Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Mon–Fri); may require overtime or holiday work
No HRA, CGHS, or government accommodation provided
Consultants must return all official assets upon contract termination
