The Centre for Poverty and Access to Justice was founded with the goal of reducing and removing barriers to justice for those who are socially and economically disadvantaged.
Theme
Due of the impossibility of physical access to the courts in India during this public health crisis, the courts had to adapt to technology. Virtual courts on online platforms are used to administer justice in the virtual setup. Technology has also generated concerns about how litigants’ rights and access to justice are affected by India’s socioeconomic position.
The key issue is Access to Justice in relation to India’s virtual courts.
Sub-Themes
Please note that the authors are free to choose any theme they like, as long as it revolves around access to justice and the interaction between Community and Restorative Justice.
