What Is National Law University, Tripura (NLUT)?

The National Law University Tripura, established by Act No. 3 of 2022 of Tripura is a national institution of excellence in legal education located in the green capital city of Agartala. It is a milestone in the field of legal education and research in the State of Tripura for improving the quality of professional legal education. At present NLU Tripura is housed in the beautiful campus of Tripura Judicial Academy with state of the art facilities for teaching and research. What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

  • Job Post:
    1. Professor of Law: No of Post- 02 (Unreserved) & 01(ST)*, Pay Scale- Academic Level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs.1,44,200/- as per UGC 7Th CPC, Essential Qualifications– Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 as adopted by National Law University, Tripura.
    2. Associate Professor of Law: No of Post-01(Unreserved) & 01(ST)*, Pay Scale– Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/- as per UGC 7Th CPC, Essential Qualifications- Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 as adopted by National Law University, Tripura.
    3. Assistant Professor of Law: No of Post- 03(Unreserved), 01(ST)* & 01(SC)*, Pay Scale: Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs.57,700/- as per UGC 7Th CPC, Essential Qualifications- Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 as adopted by National Law University, Tripura

Note: The online payment receipt must also be attached as an annexure with the Application form. Application fee is not refundable. Applications received without proof of payment of application fee will be rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply in separate application for each post along with the fee prescribed.

    • Filled in application form with all the supporting annexure and application fee payment proof must be emailed to recruitment.nlutripura@gmail.com on or before 10th May 2023.(11:59PM)
    • Applicants must also submit or send physical copy of filled in application form with all supporting documents to REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY TRIPURA, NARSINGARH, AGARTALA-799015 LATEST BY 10th May 2023 (05:00PM). The University shall not be responsible for any postal delays.
