What Is NLIU Bhopal?

The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), was established by the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, Act No. 41 of 1997, by the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature, substituted by Act No. 06 of 2018. NLIU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India. NLIU is the Second National Law School established after NLSIU, Bangalore. The VISION of NLIU is to become one of the best centers of legal education, training and research in the world. The MISSION of NLIU is to develop and nurture the intellect for the betterment of the nation and humanity through Law and Justice.

What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?

• Job Post: Assistant Professor-Law (with specialization in Jurisprudence, Interpretation of Statutes, Criminal Law, Constitution & Administrative Law and Business Law)

• Application fee: Candidate must deposit application fee of ₹1,000/- (₹500/- for ST/SC Candidates), through online.
• Important Instructions:
  • The application must be submitted strictly in the application form as prescribed and uploaded on the NLIU website (given in above mentioned link of the application form). However, the candidates may use extra sheet of papers if required. But, in no case the order of entries of the application should be disturbed.
  • Candidates who have applied earlier against the notification no. 02/2022 NLIUB, must submit a fresh application in response to this notification before the deadline to consider his/her candidature, however, need not to pay application fee again.
  • Short listed candidates will be required to appear for an interview (before the Selection Committee) on the date and time fixed by NLIU.
  • Self attested copies of:
    • Mark Sheets of all educational qualifications must be attached with the application form by all the applicants.
    • Certificates of Date of Birth and Caste Certificate (if applicable) must be attached with the application form by all the applicants.
    • UGC NET / SLET certificate must be attached with the application form for the posts of Assistant Professor.
    • Certificate of work experience.
  • An incomplete application form shall be summarily rejected.
  • Terms and conditions of employment shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
