Who Are The Organisers?

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU, Shimla) was established by the State Government in the year 2016 by an Act of the Legislature (Act 16 of 2016). The University started functioning on the 5 th of October 2016. The University has made its mark in legal education by following a forward-looking approach and taking off the beaten paths to enhance the academic potential of its faculty members, students, and research scholars.

The Centre for Cyber Laws and Security (CCLS) under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla (HPNLU), is a welcome initiative that will contribute to the development of a robust legal framework and effective strategies to combat cybercrime and enhance cyber security in India. CCLS aims to inculcate information security and cyber law matrix dynamics from a techno-legal perspective through the blended skill of Law and Technology

The Centre for Criminology and Forensic Science (CCFS) is a specialized centre established by Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, with a vision to promote academic learning in Criminology and Forensic Science. The Centre aims to conduct highly innovative research under the various heads with special emphasis on Criminal Justice and Law, Victims and Victimization, Psychology, Crime and Family, and Forensic science

The conference invites research papers on the Multidisciplinary subjects of Law, Forensic Science, and Informational Technology. In preparing the abstracts of their proposed papers, we encourage prospective participants to engage with cyber law and forensics issues, as highlighted in the conference theme.

  • Theme: Emerging Issues And Challenges Relating To Cyber Laws & Forensics
  • Objective: This aims to examine and analyze the emerging cyber law and forensics, cybercrime, and cyber security trends of today’s times and to bring the researcher, academicians, legal practitioners, and industry professionals on the same platform to identify the issues involved in the cyber law sector and its interface with the threat to forensics and cyber security.

  • Mode: Blended (Physical and Virtual) Mode. The paper presentations will be in virtual mode only.
