The Centre is singularly committed to examining, expressing, elucidating, and expediting the systematic delivery and efficient redressal of victim rights within India’s complete criminal justice system in order to alleviate victims’ suffering.

About

Students in the second to fifth years of the five-year integrated course and the second to third year of the three-year LLB study are eligible to apply.

During the internship, the intern will be expected to conduct considerable research. The intern will also be expected to work on a variety of articles and research papers, as well as support the Center in its daily operations.

Because punctuality and sincerity are a must for this job, it is expected that the intern would work tirelessly on the duties assigned to them.

Period of Internship

The internship will last at least four weeks and may be extended at the intern’s request with the consent of the internship coordinator. Until the RGNUL Campus reopens, the internship will operate on a remote working arrangement.

Procedure for Submitting an Application
The internship will be selected once a three-step process has been completed successfully.

The candidate must submit a curriculum vitae (CV) and an Expression of Interest (EOI) explaining why they want to intern with the Center in the first round of the process. Internships.ccvrgnul@gmail.com is the address to send it to. Both the CV and the EOI should be submitted in pdf format.

Candidates will be required to fill out a formal questionnaire after being selected and longlisted in the first stage. Each candidate will be given two situation-based questions to which they will be expected to respond in 200 words each.

The questions will be designed to evaluate their writing abilities as well as their knowledge of the law.

The third and final step will consist of an interview round for those candidates who have been chosen following the second stage.

Candidates will be evaluated in this stage on their preliminary knowledge of the relevant discipline, their mental presence, as well as their excitement and desire in working with the CCV.

Rewards

  • A certificate of completion of internship shall be provided to each intern who successfully completes a four-week internship.
  • Letter of appreciation shall also be provided to only those interns who have performed with excellence.
  • There shall be no stipend provided to any intern.
