About the Institutes
The Directorate of Legal Studies is the Premier Legal Institution which brought vital changes in the set up of Legal Education in the State of Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1953 with the twin objectives of administration of Law Colleges and improving the standard of Legal Education in the state of Tamil Nadu by framing new policies and rules.
Government Law College, Villupuram functioning under its Administrative Department of Directorate of Legal Studies is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.
Gujarat National Law University is the statutory university established by the Govt. of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. The University is recognized by the Bar Council of India and University Grants Commission.
The IUCN Academy of Environmental Law is made up of an international network of 204 universities, law schools, and research institutions focused on environmental law, from 60 countries.
About the Event
Directorate of Legal Studies and Government Law College, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu in association with Gujarat National Law University; Trees, India and IUCN Academy of Environmental Law is hosting, “Virtual International Conference On Environmental Law To Celebrate Biodiversity”.
Trees, India is a Non-Governmental Organization focussed on building Environmental Law Literacy and awareness with the objective of playing a vital role in furtherance of making a clean and green environment.
The Conference presents International and National Expert Panel Discussions on Environmental Law and Biodiversity Conservation from National and International Perspectives.
