Call For Editors for Law Students 2020

 About 

The Journal of Intersectional Analysis is an international journal launched to provide expression to the complex categories of class, gender, nationality, disability, and other identities. The journal aims to be a leading source of scholarly research into how we understand the idea and application of ‘intersectionality’. 

Application for Student Editors:

The Journal of Intersectional Analysis (JIA) is pleased to invite applications for the post of Student Editors for the Journal. The Journal has two teams working simultaneously 1) Legal and 2) Social Sciences

The positions available in both teams are:

  • Editor-In-Chief (1)
  • Deputy Editor-In -Chief (1)
  • Senior Editor (3)
  • Associate Editor (5)

Eligibility:

  1. Students studying in undergraduate and postgraduate studying Social Sciences, Humanities or Law.
  2. For the following positions:

Editor-In-Chief/Deputy: 3rd Year Undergraduate and above

Senior Editor/Associate Editor: 2nd Year Undergraduate and above

  1. Prior Editorial Experience would be appreciated.
  2. A working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and WordPress.
  3. Previous publications in journals or blogs are necessary.
  4. A strong commitment towards social issues and writing above the same.

The duties would include editing articles, writing blogs (due credit will be given for the same) and editing the website from time-to-time.

Please Note: None of the Positions are paid and would require around 5-7 hours a week.
