The LGBTQIA+ community has seen a struggle from being called as a miniscule minority to getting their right of gender identity and expression being recognised as inherent to individual dignity.
In order to honor the challenges faced by the community and to discuss possible social and legal interventions, Marathwada Mitramandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College is organizing a webinar titled, “Coming out of your closet: Accepting LGBTQIA+” on Friday, 21st January 2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The webinar intends to bring together representatives of the community to share their views.
Additionally, the platform shall be used for inaugurating the Certificate Course on Alternative Sexualities which will be offered by the college from February 2022.
