Besides this, they play an equally important foundational role in the everyday practice of public health.The reach of public health law is as broad as public health itself and both are required to meet the needs of society.
However, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have witnessed the breakdown of existing laws and felt the need for comprehensive health laws and their effective implementation schemes, so that people can have the protection of law even in extraordinary circumstances like the ongoing pandemic.This edited book will be the second volume in the “Health laws and Policies in India” series and it would aim to explore from various such before mentioned perspectives to offer a full spectrum analysis of Health Laws and Policies in India.
