KLE Society’s Law College is a constituent college of KLE Technological University, Hubballi and has been continuously ranked as one of the top law schools in India.
The Surana & Surana National Constitutional Law Moot has been conceived with the aim of creating
opportunities for learning the development of jurisprudence on emerging trends in Constitutional Law
besides developing cutting edge skills in research, writing and advocacy.
What Are The Details Of The Competition?
- Date of the event:24th–26th November 2023
- Mode: Offline mode
- Venue: KLE Law College, 3, CA-2 V Block, West Circle, Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Layout, Ullal Post, Bengaluru – 560 091
- Eligibility: Students pursuing LL.B (5 Year/ 3 Year degree course) in Colleges/Universities/Institutes in the current academic year are eligible to participate in this competition. One team per university/institution shall be eligible to participate.
- Registration Details:
- Online registrations are open from 28th September 2023. The teams must register online by 10th November 2023. Teams will have to register online at CLICK HERE
- Participants will receive an automated system-generated acknowledgement on successful submission of registration. Participants will receive an approval as acceptance of their requestfor participation latest by 7th November 2023 8:00 PM or earlier.
- A scanned copy of the letter from the participating college/institution/university duly signed by any one of the following:- Faculty-in-charge of MCS/MCA, Registrar, Principal, Dean, Director, Chancellor or Vice-Chancellor confirming the names of the participants, Year/ semester in which studying, representing the college/ institution/ university for the moot competition will have to be attached during the online registration process (The approval letter shall be formatted on the letterhead of the participating institution/college/university. Alternatively, you may use the registration form itself as appended below on page 9 of the Rulebook with the official seal)
- Registrations without the scanned copy of the approval letter from the college/institution/ university will not be valid.
- There shall be no team cap for the number of institutes that wish to participate in theCompetition.
- Registration Fees: The registration fees for the Competition is:
- With Accommodation: Rs. 8000/-
- Without Accommodation: Rs. 4000/-
- Awards:
- Winner – Trophy + Rs. 20,000/-
- Runner up – Trophy + Rs.10,000/-
- Best Memorial – Trophy
- Best Student Advocate – Trophy
- All participants will be issued participation certificates.
- Event Schedule:
- Start of Online Registration: 28th September 2023
- Last date for Online Registration: 6th November 2023
- Last Date for Submission of soft copy of Memorials: 18th November 2023
- Submission of Travel form: 20th November 2023
- Submission of hard copy of Memorials (8 Copies) during Orientation: 24 th November 2023
- Inauguration and Orientation: 24th November 2023
- Preliminary Rounds I & II :25th November 2023
- Octa Final Round: 25th November 2023
- Quarter Final Round: 25th November 2023/26th November (contingent on Octa Final Round being held)
- Semi-Finals, Finals and Valedictory Ceremony: 26th November 2023
