Who Is The Organiser?

Savitribai Phule Pune University, one of the premier universities in India, is positioned in the North-western part of Pune city. It occupies an area of about 411 acres. It was established on 10 th February 1949 under the Poona University Act. The university houses 46 academic departments. It is popularly known as the ‘Oxford of the East’. It has about 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges offering graduate and undergraduate courses. The university attracts many foreign students due to its excellent facilities. It offers a good accommodation facility. There is a provision of hostel for the students. There is a well- stocked library containing plenty of books regarding various subjects. The university offers different scholarships to the students. The university conducts seminars and conferences for the students.

The Army Law College, Pune (ALC) is a residential institute established in July 2018 by the Indian Army under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) at Kanhe near Pune. Approval of Govt of Maharashtra for the establishment of the Army Law College at Pune, affiliation with the renowned Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) was received in Mar 2018 and approval from the Bar Council of India was accorded on 28 June, 2018. Placed in the beautiful mountains of Sahyadri, Army Law College, Pune, is one of the esteemed institutes where students are taught to be just legal protectors with the aid of most proficient professors who provide us with ample resources to make the students best in their field and more competent.   • Venue: Army Law College, Pune Kanhe, Near Old Pune-Mumbai National Highway, Tal: Mawal, Pune-412106 (Maharashtra), India.
  • Eligibility: Research papers in English from academicians, professionals, practitioners, researchers, as well as students in the fields of Law, Social Science, Environmental Sciences, and other interdisciplinary fields of study. These submissions should focus on emerging issues and related topics within the border themes mentioned and other relevant sub-issues.
  • Participants: The Seminar will include paper presentations and participants who want to attend the Seminar as spectators. Its objective is to encourage participation and paper presentations from researchers, academicians, policymakers, research scholars, foreign delegates and Indian andforeign students who are engaged in research related to contemporary legal issues. Additionally, scholars from non- law disciplines who are addressing legal matters from an Interdisciplinary standpoint are also encouraged to join.

    • National Academicians, Advocates, Delegates, Policy makers, Research scholars, and other professionals: Rs. 1500 (presenters), Rs. 500 (participants)
    • Co-Authors Rs. 1200 each (presenters)
      • Registration fee includes Seminar kit, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
      • All the delegates are requested to bring original ID Proof along with them.
      • In the case of co-authorship, both participants must register separately. Each author shall pay Rs. 1200 each, in case of co-authorship.
      • Any presenters who opt for accommodation need to contact us at least 2 days prior to the Seminar i.e., on or before 10th December, 2023. The fee for accommodation is Rs.1500 per person.
  • Important Information:
    • Confirmation for registration of the conference shall be subject to the payment of the
    • registration fee and submission of the registration form.
    •  Payment once made shall not be refunded. All transfers are non-refundable in nature.
    •  No TA/ DA shall be granted to participants.
    •  The accommodation shall be managed by the participants themselves.
  • Submission Guidelines:
    • Only selected abstracts will be permitted for presentation.
    • The abstract should not exceed 300 words and must be accompanied by a cover page stating the following: –
      • Title of the Paper
      •  Sub-theme of the paper
      •  Name and Designation of the author (s) E-mail address
      •  Postal address and Contact Number

    • The following guidelines should be followed for submission of full paper:
      • The word limit of the paper shall be 5,500-8,500 words (exclusive of footnotes)
      •  The main text of the full paper should be in Times New Roman with a font size of 12 and line spacing of 1.5.
    • Profile and identification for all individual authors and for both authors is a mandate in case of co-authorship.
    • The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with spacing of 1.0 (Endnotes are not permitted).
    •  One-inch margins should be maintained on all four sides of the pages.
    •  Citation Style: Bluebook, 20th edition.
    •  Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of two authors and at least one author must attend the Conference to present the paper.
    •  No proxy presentations will be allowed.
    •  All submissions must be the author’s original and unpublished work. Any amount of Plagiarism will attract immediate disqualification.
    •  Full paper with the subject “Submission of Full Paper” must be submitted through E- mail at armylawcollegepune.seminar@gmail.com
    •  The plagiarism report should be less than 10%, software like Turnitin will be used for the same
    •  All the papers will be peer-reviewed by a committee of experts with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance.
    •  All authors/coauthors will have to register and a co-authorship of up to two persons is allowed.
    •  A certificate of originality has to be submitted with the full paper.
    •  All rights of publication of papers presented in the Seminar shall rest with the Seminar organizers.
  • Mode of Presetantion:
    • The presentation will be conducted in a Hybrid manner.
    •  4 sessions will be held in Offline mode
    •  1 session will be held online.
    •  Online presentations are only for Participants residing outside Maharashtra.

  • Certificate and Publication:
    • Certificates will be presented to every participant who duly submits and presents the paper.
    • Publication of the best articles under each sub-theme in a prescribed book/ Journal carrying ISBN number/Conference Proceedings.
    • The accepted papers after undergoing peer-review shall be considered for publication.
    • Certification for publication will be provided.
