The Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University is the law school of the Aligarh Muslim University which has a history of over 100 years of teaching and writing law. Law classes were inaugurated by Justice Douglas Straight on December 29, 1891. The Faculty of Law, AMU is one of the oldest and most prestigious law departments in India. It offers various courses in law, including BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma and PhD programmes. The faculty has a rich tradition of academic excellence and social service. The faculty is organizing an online programme on “Real Estate, Construction Laws & Sustainable Development” on 26th August 2023 at 10:00 am IST.

- Objective: The webinar will explore the legal and environmental aspects of real estate and construction projects in India and abroad. The webinar will also discuss the challenges and opportunities for achieving sustainable development goals through green building practices and policies.
