Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai is one of the premier National Law universities located in the economic capital of India. It offers graduate, post-graduate, and research degrees in law and allied disciplines. The object of the university is to advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of the law and legal processes and their role in national development, to serve society in the field of law by developing skills in regard to advocacy, legal services, legislation, law reforms, and the like; to organize lectures, seminars, symposia and conferences to promote efficient instruments of social development. MNLU Mumbai has set up a Centre for Research in IP among sixteen centers for legal research. Department for the Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India has also established IPR Chair in the University to advance these objects.
The DPIIT IPR Chair at MNLU Mumbai is pleased to announce the call for internships. We invite passionate and dedicated students to be part of our esteemed institution and gain invaluable experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). This internship program offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experts and contribute to cutting-edge research and initiatives in the IPR domain.
What Are The Details Of The Opportunity?
- Mode of the internship: Offline Mode at MNLU, Mumbai Campus
- Eligibility:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students of law
- Strong analytical skills and research interest in IPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a team player
- Role & Responsibilities: As an intern at the DPIIT IPR Chair, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities, including:
- Assisting in research projects related to IPR laws, policies, and emerging issues
- Conducting literature reviews and data analysis
- Assisting in the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Drafting reports, policy briefs, and academic articles
- Supporting the Chair’s initiatives in IPR advocacy and awareness campaigns
