Posted by The Centre for Intellectual Property Research and Advanced Studies of Geeta Institute of Law (CIPRAS, GIL) was established in January 2019. The centre is working under the guidance of Dr. (Prof.) Dharminder Patial, Dean, Geeta Institute of Law with chairperson and student co-ordinators of the centre. The CIPRAS pitches on to conduct a variety of activities involves in educating the importance of IPR by organizing conferences, lectures/talks, performances and screenings with a multi disciplinary approach in order to open the door for the intellectual exchange of interests. The Centre also promotes academic exchanges among GIL’s Students and scholars from other collaborated organizations and institute. The centre also coordinates with various IP firms to conduct programs to create awareness on Intellectual Property Rights and Certificate courses.
