Posted by Thakur Ramnarayan College of Law, Mumbai affiliated under University of Mumbai, empowers its students with a vision to meet the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world. Lex Communique, TRCL’s Flagship Annual National Law Fest, aims to provide a forum for ambitious law students to connect and discuss, in order to develop and showcase their skills.
TRCL over the years, has been organizing Lex Communique by including National Level Moot Court competitions and Parliamentary Debate Competitions, which has achieved great success with immense participation and now its aim is to broaden the horizons further. However, this year TRCL is organizing ‘Trial Advocacy’ and ‘Model Parliament’ as the essential Lex-Communique components.
TRCL therefore, takes great pleasure in inviting all the Leading Law Schools from Pan India to participate and be a part of its 4th Edition of Lex Communique 2023 which is schedule from 24th – 26th February 2023.
ABOUT THE EVENTS
Trial Advocacy Competition intends to promote and develop skills in the procedure used by Trial Courts, as well as to test students’ knowledge of the law and facts.
Model Parliament Debate intends to provide young aspiring leaders with a platform to present their perspectives on government dogma.
Furthermore, along with Trial Advocacy and Model Parliament, this event also consists of Judgement Writing Competition and various other informal events for the registered participants.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in the current calendar year in a three-year or five-year course in law from any recognized school/ college/ university are eligible to participate in the competition. The first 30 teams will be allowed to participate first-come-first-serve basis.

1. Trophy + Cash Prize + Certificate – (Winning Team, Runners-Up and Best Speaker) and Best Judgement.
2. Trophy + Certificate- (2nd Best Speaker & 2nd Best Judgement)
MODEL PARLIAMENT:
Trophy + Cash Prize + Certificate- (Best Team and Best Speaker)
