Who Is The Organiser?

 The Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University is the law school of the Aligarh Muslim University which has a history of over 100 years of teaching and writing law. Law classes were inaugurated by Justice Douglas Straight on December 29, 1891. The Department of Law, A.M.U., Aligarh has been successfully pursuing higher academic excellence. It has a unique distinction of producing highest number of qualitative Ph.Ds in India and hundreds of LL.M. dissertations in various fields of specialization and also publishing two peer reviewed Journals bearing ISSN Nos. namely Aligarh Law Journal (ALJ) in Faculty of Law and Legal Journal Quest for Justice under the banner of Ambedkar Chair, Department of Law containing thought provoking research oriented articles of the eminent personalities. Monographs and Text Books publications is a regular feature of the Department. During the last five years, the Department has published approx imately 118 Research Oriented Articles, 4 Monographs, 10 Chapters in Books along with 03 Books bearing ISBN Nos. as well as 05 Edited Books.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Hall, Aligarh Muslim University is one of the residential halls of the university consisting of several hostels. The residents belong to mainly but not restricted to Faculty of Law, AMU. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hall started functioning in the academic session of 2008-2009. The Dining Hall, Common Room, Reading Room, Gymnasium and games facilities are available in the Hall along with holistic activities for the inmates. Inmates are enrolled in Bachelors, Masters, PHD and Doctorate

The National Webinar on, “Cyber Law and International Standards & Its Compliance” is a part of extra-mural activities and programs organised in collaboration by Faculty of Law, AMU & Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Hall, AMU from time to time for enriching and improvising the learning of student community nationwide.
